What you should bring & NOT bring on your next camping trip
Do you ever feel like you never communicate face to face with your family for a long time and that everyone is engrossed in some form of electronic device when you look around? Without the distraction of modern technology such as mobile phones and tablets, being in close proximity to loved ones or excellent friends allows you to interact more directly and it provides and receives eye contact.
Therefore, camping is one of the activities that helps you build and strengthen relationships between you and family. We’ve put together a list of items for you to bring on for the next camping trip. We have broken down the item by different categories so it can avoid forgetting any important item.

Keep the wild animal away from humans (to protect yourself and the animals) and do your part to avoid having too much odour!
- Denim Pants
Jeans can be heavy, hot, and stiff compared to other types of pants as they are more lightweight and quick dry fabric.
- Family size containers of food
When packing food for your camping trip, more isn’t always good. Preparing the meal according to family size is the easiest way but it takes up more room in the cooler. Having large containers of food at camp can also lead to food waste if ants attack or ice runs out.
- High Fashion Jewellery and Nice Clothing
While having the camping trip, style points don’t count for anything and these items can get lost or damaged easily when you’re roughing it. Instead of wearing this fancy stuff during camping just wear casual or workout clothes.
- Unnecessary Electronic Devices
When heading out for a camping trip you DEFINITELY don’t need your electronic devices (except for your mobile). Moreover, if you bring these devices while camping you might need to bear the risk of losing your device.
